本当にたくさんの方に支えられ、この度、書道家、アーティストとして20周年を迎えることが出来ました。これも一重に、支えてくださる見守ってくださる、応援してくださる皆様のおかげです。
本当にありがとうございます。心より深く感謝申し上げます。
2年前、書道、箏の恩師でもある最愛の母を亡くし、病気発覚後、拠点をほぼ実家のある京都の丹後に移し、支えてくださった皆様のおかげで2年間母を全力でサポートさせて頂くことができました。
「あなたはお母さんがいなくなったら海外に行くんでしょ？」誰にも伝えていなかった事を生前母に言われました。全く悔いがないかといえば嘘になりますが、それでもできる限り、2年間母のそばにいられたことは私にとってとても大きなことでした。そして、母の想いも乗せてここから私の第二章が始まります。書道家、アーティスト20周年、50歳を過ぎました。人間、いつどうなるかなんて誰にもわからない。ならば、生きている限り悔いなく自分の天命を全うする。
私は、日本の伝統文化である書道を独自の世界観で世界中の皆様に文字、線に込められたエネルギーをお届けしたい。
辛い時、苦しい時、悲しい時、悔しい時、嬉しい時、楽しい時、全ての感情で後押しや勇気でお役に立ちたい。心に響く、寄り添う、作品そのものがパワースポットとなるようなエネルギーのある作品を世界中の方々に届けたい。
そんな想いでさらに世界へ向けて挑戦し駆け抜けていきたいと思っております。

Ai Takaoka – Artist’s 20th Anniversary Greetings
Thanks to the support of so many people, I’ve been able to celebrate my 20th anniversary as a calligrapher and artist. I owe this entirely to all of you who have supported me, watched over me, and encouraged me.
Thank you so much. I’m deeply grateful.
Two years ago, I lost my beloved mother, who was also my mentor in calligraphy and koto. After her illness was discovered, I relocated my base of operations almost entirely to my hometown of Tango, Kyoto. Thanks to all of you who supported me, I was able to fully support my mother for two years.
“You’re going to go overseas after I’m gone, aren’t you?” My mother said this to me before she passed away, something I had never told anyone.
I’d be lying if I said I have no regrets, but being able to be by my mother’s side for as long as I could for those two years was a very special thing to me. And now, with my mother’s thoughts in mind, my second chapter begins. 20 years as a calligrapher and artist, and I’ve just turned 50. No one knows what will happen to a human being. So, as long as I’m alive, I should fulfill my destiny without regrets.
I want to use the traditional Japanese art of calligraphy to convey the energy contained in its letters and lines to people all over the world through my unique worldview.
I want to be of help by providing encouragement and courage for all emotions: times of pain, difficulty, sadness, frustration, happiness, and joy. I want to deliver energetic works to people all over the world that resonate with them, that offer comfort, and that become power spots in themselves.
With this in mind, I want to continue taking on new challenges and sprinting out into the world.
