Soul of Language

Life and the soul of language.
Although these are different words,My sentiment is the same.

I imagine that This energy reaches someone And that person’s life is somehow uplifted.

The Tango region in Kyoto Prefecture where I was raised Is a land abundant with nature where energy gathers.
Even now, whether I am indoors, Or walking around the town, I live while constantly sensing “nature”.

I watch the sun.
I am simply moved by its magnificent energy.

I create artwork by writing characters, But words and meaning are not what exist first. Sentiments exist first.
Then I give form to the energy that I receive from nature, And what I write takes the shape of words. That is my mental image.

魂、soul.
All that I have now, I devote to my art.

The calligraphy I wrote with all my soul...
If its energy reaches someone. If it could be of benefit somehow, I’d be happy.

This is the energy that exists within me.
